eMedia Academy

One of the main pillars of the development of modern Malaysian society is the important role that is being played by the country’s education system.  Through the years, the government has succeeded in making education one of the main priorities of development. We have seen how the face of our education system has been changing in tune with the changes in society and the new aspirations and demands of a fast-changing world.

The emergence of eMedia Academy – a college offering multi media skills integrating with mass communication as well as tenets of Islam, will provide another channel for those youth who may not be too academically inclined, to further their education. Too often, school-leavers who may not be suitable for academic-oriented further education are left out even though they may be mentally bright and suitable for skill-based education. Being from the rural areas and coming from the poorer sections of society, these youth may not be aware of alternative channels for their further advancement.

This is where eMedia comes into the picture.  We hope to provide this sector of society with the opportunity to develop their talent and skills in ICT so that they could contribute positively to the economic development of the country. At the same time, we are also ensuring that their development is being balanced by the teachings of Islam and the tenets of their culture so that they will not be easily influenced by outside, especially Western, forces, which may be counter-productive.
