Introduction
The idea to establish GIFT Foundation (Gabungan membangun Insan dengan Fikrah dan Tenaga) was initiated in March 2009 when a group of activists from Malaysia and other countries met and had extensive brainstorming sessions on the topic of how to work together to produce a spiritual and self-reliant Ummah (society).
The need to combine our efforts, expertise, energies, synergies, finances, brains and strength in a more systematic way is very much needed in order to create and develop a smart and harmonious society. The kind of smart and harmonious society that we aim to create will have these characteristics:
Proactive: Have the initiative to take action which brings goodness without being asked.
Productive: Utilizing resources in the most effective and efficient manner to achieve noble goals.
Progressive: To use the latest and most relevant methods to increase productivity.
Caring: To upgrade value of all creatures. Let us work together in developing a harmonious, intellectual society who carefully for the ecological balances necessary to the world survival:
